My Mac OS X computer won't let me update
After downloading or inserting the latest version of Madentec Software. The install process sometimes prevents you from installing a newer version of the software over your older one.To fix this you may need to remove the receipts (these are previously installed pkg files). To get to your receipts folder do the following:
- Go to Finder
- Press the Command-Shift-G keys simultaneously
- Type in /Library/Receipts in the drop panel.
- Search for Envoy.pkg and/or Envoy Create.pkg and/or MagicCursor.pkg files and delete them
- Empty your trash
- Restart your machine
- Try to reinstall again.
